TomKat Ranch Sustainable Agriculture Winter Internship 2016

The Sustainable Agriculture Winter Internship is a paid winter-long (January – April) opportunity created to provide a valuable educational experience for individuals driven to become leaders in the field of sustainable food systems.  Whether interns are interested in becoming ranchers, researchers, managers, or food advocates they are a respected part of the TomKat Ranch team and work closely with skilled ranch staff and on-site partners on a wide range of projects.  Over the term interns gain experience in areas including, but not limited to: land and soil stewardship, wildlife conservation and protection, compost science, sustainable multi-species animal grazing, small business development, aquaponics, ranch management, and ecological data collection and research design.
